I am a trauma informed relational therapist who works with diverse populations including teens (13+) and adults (individuals, families, and couples) who feel caught in repetitive patterns or overwhelmed by the demands of daily life. Many of my clients are adult children of immigrant parents, navigating the tension between cultural obligation and personal identity. I want to help you move from feeling stuck to feeling more connected.
I am an attachment-based and culturally conscious therapist. My approach is direct and client-centered: I balance compassionate support with honest feedback. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is one of the cornerstones to doing meaningful work. We can build a safe space where you donβt have to carry your most vulnerable and complex experiences alone.
In sessions, we first identify the patterns that keep you stuck to thenbuild practical strategies that help you show up more aligned with the life you want for yourself.
In my work with families, I maintain a stance of multidirectionalpartiality and focus on the micro-cultural norms present in family dynamics when working with teens and adults navigating the lessons and values passed forward through generations so that I can be more attuned to the needs of each unique family system.
Some modalities I integrate into my method include internal family systems, emotionally focused therapy, trauma focused CBT, Bowenian systems theory and contextual family therapy.
